Assistant Professor of Department of Management Science at National Chiao Tung University

[ Introduction]

Dr. Kuo-Yang Kao is an Assistant Professor of Department of Management Science at National Chiao Tung University in Taiwan. He received his Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational (I/O) Psychology at the University of Houston (2015). In addition to his Ph.D. training of I/O Psychology, he obtained a minor degree in Occupational Health Psychology. Dr. Kao’s research works center on the areas of Organizational Behavior and Occupational Health Psychology, such as occupational safety, employee health and well-being, mentoring, and emotional labor. The main goal of his research is to advance our current understanding of employee’s experience and the establishment of a healthy and safe environment from both the scientific and practice perspectives.
